Quotes I Like
“You can't expose a lie without first shattering the will to believe it. That is why leading people to truth is so much more effective than merely telling them.”
“We're exploring the possibility of building a wall to stem the exodus."
"Don't be ridiculous," Goddard said. "Only idiots build walls.”
“One could say, Ayn, that he has cast himself as Atlas. Which means the slightest shrug can shake the world.”
“We never know what choices will lead to defining moments in our lives. A glance to the left instead of right could define who we meet and who passes us by. Our life path can be determined by a single phone call we make, or neglect to make.”
“The dead have nothing left to them but a silent faith in that unknowable infinity - even if theirs is a belief that nothing waits but an infinity of infinities. Because believing in nothing is still believing in something - and only by reaching eternity will anyone know the truth of it all.”
“the more she read, the more she came to understand the fears and the dreams of mortals. The trouble they all had living in the moment, in spite of the fact that the moment was all they had.”

Review
Neal Shusterman does it again... not surprising. I loooove Neal Shusterman's writing style, I always have and I probably always will. I think the way he creates worlds and characters is astounding, he is a master story teller. I am never left wanting more (ok except to read just one more book by him).
I think this was a beautiful end to one of my all time favourite trilogies. All our favourite, and least favourite characters have satisfying and complete endings. I was not left wishing for more or resentful at how not only this book but the overall series ended. We got to meet some new characters, which I was a little worried wouldn't get the development they needed, but they did of course. I also can't believe how shocked I was at the ending and how things played out, I feel like I should have seen it coming from days away but I didn't realize what was happening until it already does. I love being surprised while I'm reading so that really made this book enjoyable for me.
Overall I think this book was a perfect ending and I was left feeling very satisfied with how it ended. I'm going to miss Citra, Rowen, Farday and the rest of the cast from this book. I can't wait to read what ever Neal Shusterman publish next.
